Introducing the jbomb.net Forums
The most anticipated feature in jbomb.net history is finally here. Forums have arrived. You can visit them immediately, or read on to find out more about this new discussion area.

By far the most requested feature from readers has been a general forum where they could interact without using posts themselves. Though I am in the process of a redesign of the whole site, I thought that introducing the forum early would be beneficial to everyone. I was able to upgrade the site, and deliver a feature that will bring the jbomb experience to the next level.
For those interested in technical details (those of you who are not might as well skip this paragraph), the forum I am running is Vanilla. Why? It is a lightweight and simple forum that is highly customizable. I took advantage of the ease of customization by adding plenty of extensions and creating a personalized theme and header. I have worked with Vanilla in the past, and I have almost no complaints. Plus, the system has a great community behind it should I ever have problems. I hope to customize things further in the future.
I am excited for the forum, but the only way it will be successful is if those who campaigned for it are active! So instead of reading more of what I have to say, go sign up and get started. Invite your friends and get some discussions started. For now I will be approving all memberships, and down the road I will open up the registration to be instant.

Sounds awesome!
Mark, comment under the title with your name in it on the forums link.
It looks nice and I look forward to partaking in the discussions.
Question: will you be using categories as the posting expands?
I now see the categories tab. Sorry for not not noticing this before.
