Bracket Challenge 2008
Being the huge sports fan that I am, I naturally am very excited about March Madness. It is one of the most exciting times of the year. In celebration of one of my favorite sporting events, I am having a contest on this site.
I have set up a bracket group on Yahoo, because I enjoy their setup and most people have a Yahoo! account. I am sure that the loyal readers of jbomb.net would enjoy a friendly basketball bracket competition, so I encourage everyone to join. How?
- Navigate your browser to the Yahoo! Tourney Pick ‘Em 08 site. If you are not signed in to the site, use the links at the top to either sign in or create a new account.
- Click the ‘Join A Group’ link on the bottom of the box on the front page. Then click Join Group on the left.
- Use the following information: Group ID#: 129425 Password: jbombdotnet
- You will then create a new bracket, and a bracket name. To be eligible for the contest you must post a comment below (be sure to use your first name as the name) with the name of your bracket. Example: Best Bracket Ever
- Make your picks!
- The winner of the contest will receive a
$10$20 Gift Card to the iTunes Store (courtesy myself and Ben, see below). By winning I mean placing first in the group of all participants. If there is a tie, I will flip a coin to determine the winner. The official rules are determined completely at my discretion. By entering the contest you acknowledge that you have common sense, and if you do not win you will not complain. - The winner will be contacted through their Yahoo! email, but if you win just send me an email through the above contact form. You will later need to send me an email from the Yahoo address you entered under. I will then arrange to send you the iTunes gift card via email.
Be sure to complete your brackets soon, as they must be finished before the first game on Thursday, March 20th. You will see my picks labeled as above, Best Bracket Ever.

Update: Ben of airxxi.com has decided to up the ante of this contest, doubling the prize gift card amount. The winner will now receive a $20 gift card to iTunes. Thanks Ben, and once again good luck to everyone!

hahaha lukes post made me laugh out loud. We all know xane and Lebron will be tied for last. Jbomb will also guaranteed be at the bottom. And happy birthday to both members of the late love 318. Duke rules Pitt drools.
