WHAT YOU KNOW

As you probably read on the front page, my name is Justin Cady. You also may have read that I am a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and there I am enrolled in the computer science program.

WHAT YOU DO NOT KNOW (YET)

I am a twenty-year-old male from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who loves the steel city more than most people love their children. No matter where my life or career takes me, my home will always be in Pittsburgh, also home to the greatest sports franchise in history, the Steelers.

Three hundred miles away, Rochester, NY, is my place of residence nine months each year. I am a sophomore at RIT, and the challenging schedule and curriculum holds most of my time in between blizzards. I love watching and playing sports, particularly soccer and basketball. However the computer science major does warrant a lot of time in front of a screen.

When it comes to computing, there is no choice but Apple. My reliable iBook G4 was recently replaced by my new system, an absolutely gorgeous 20″ iMac. Rinoa, as she is called, sports a 2ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 500gb hard drive and 3gb of RAM. The iBook still hangs around for trips and the like. I am often on these machines learning more about coding while teaching myself web design as I continue to pursue my CS degree and eventually my job.

My other screen of choice would be the silver one. As a self-proclaimed film aficionado, much of the content on my site is devoted to reviewing movies. I love to make movies as well, and I get plenty of editing work with my job at RIT SportsZone.
