Jimmy Eat World and Paramore Coming to RIT
It may be a little surprising to some, but RIT actually does hold major concerts with actual artists. In a way I feel it is my duty to promote the next concert, because it is one I will be attending.
The artists RIT managed to get are Jimmy Eat World and Paramore. This is exciting because I personally listen to both of these bands. You may remember that I recently discovered and started listening to Paramore. They may be a band designed for high-school teenagers, but I cannot ignore my punk roots entirely. My philosophy in music is just to enjoy what you enjoy, regardless of public opinion. Unless it is Linkin Park, in which case you should just stop listening to music entirely. Everyone ignores me, no one is listening? Please.
Back to the topic, I also have listened to Jimmy Eat World for a number of years. I have not heard their newest album yet, so I will be sure to check it out before they arrive on campus. If by some chance you have not heard this band before, there are a few choice tracks at last.fm.

Wow. Not only is Paramore designed for teenagers, but teenage girls to be specific. They truly are a terrible band, as well is Jimmy Eat World. How dare you have the audacity to market these bands yet talk noise on a band with some incredible songs such as Linkin Park. My punk bias might take over a little with my hate for these bands, but none the less…Wow.

my roommate loves paramore. i have never listened to it. but talib kweli came to w and j last year…so that kinda wins …too bad i didnt go there then…and still dont… but that trumps jimmy eat paramore. no one can disagree
