Impressions of Super Mario Galaxy

Breaking sales records left and right, Super Mario Galaxy is receiving universal praise as one of the best Mario games to date. The only console that I own is the Nintendo Wii, so naturally I was anticipating this one for a long time. I picked up the game last week, and so far I have been very impressed. Read on »

Being a huge fan of the series as a cartoon, the comics, and the first two films, I was very excited to see this installment. I consider X2: X-Men United to be the best superhero movie ever, so naturally I expected greatness. Is X3 a fitting end to the trilogy? Read on »

Film Review: The Departed

The Departed, a film from director Martin Scorsese, has received unanimous praise since its release. Critics raved about how The Departed was the best movie of the 2006. The awards were there, but the movie is not nearly as good as the reviews would have you believe. Read on »

The Story of a Heroes Hater

The NBC hit series Heroes has garnered a huge following since it began about one year ago. I personally have been ripping the show to shreds without ever having seen an episode. Claims of it being NBC’s Lost were the fuel to my Heroes hate. Ironically after tearing through the first season on DVD, I must now rethink my position. Being NBC’s slightly modified Lost is what makes the show so great. Read on »
