The summer of 2007 was one of the most entertaining summers of cinema I have ever experienced. For three months I had a film I wanted to see almost every weekend, and for the most part did. Click the link next to the title of the film to see its review (if available). Maybe you have seen them, and maybe you missed a few; either way, enjoy! Read on »

After a twelve-year absence, Detective McClane is back for more beatdown in Live Free or Die Hard—has he lost his touch? Read on »

The director who made his name with the fantastic television series Freaks & Geeks was found to have a penchant for the lowbrow with his previous film The 40 Year Old Virgin, and only builds on that passion in his latest endeavor, Knocked Up. The state of the NFL is so absurd right now I am having trouble believing these are the same teams from last year. In one offseason the league has been turned completely upside down, and I am talking Lindsay Lohan having a successful movie upside down. Cue this reality check: Read on »

Disclaimer: This review was written at 4am after seeing the Spider-Man 3 midnight premiere. In the interest of preserving a small piece of jbomb.net history, I have decided to repost this review unchanged. Enjoy this scathing late night domination of Spider-Man. Read on »
